Left to right, Exchange Court Building, Adams Building, North American Building; located at 52, 61 and 60 Broadway. Architect: Clinton & Russell, Francis H. Kimball; McKim, Mead & White. Built: 1898, 1914, 1907. Barely 25 feet wide, Exchange Place is overhung by the skyscrapers, 300 and 400 feet high, on either side. Originally a path leading to the city fortifications, in British colonial times it was called Oyster Pasty Alley.
